REVIEW OF HARRY LAMBERT’S COLLECTION WITH ZARA

Harry Lambert is known for challenging traditional ideas of masculinity and for being Harry Styles stylist.

The collection he created for Zara launched exclusively on 9th November at Dover Street Market but launched on Zara today (13th November). The collection is called “Cutie Chaos” and a lot of people are saying the collection is Harry Styles coded, with it being very similar to his outfits but also to his brand pleasing.

The collection is 60 pieces and features knitwear, jumpers, accessories, scarfs, shirts, jewellery, jeans, and t-shirts. It is made up of vintage silhouettes, heritage fabrics, and nostalgic colour palettes. It has a playful cartoon print of a giant bunny in a green hat, which is wear people see parallels to the brand pleasing.

Here are my top ten items from the collection.

Suede Jacket With Topstitching

This cropped leather jacket with a suede finish, is the perfect item to add to your wardrobe this Autumn Winter. The contrast between the brown and cream, make it really easy to style. The zip on the front instead of buttons, and a twist to a quiet classic jacket. This could be perfectly paired with a pair of matching brown trousers and a cream jumper, for an everyday outfit.

T-Shirt with Slogan

This slogan tee, is perfect for a casual outfit . It could be paired  perfectly with the trousers above, or alternatively a red trouser or skirt to highlight the red on the t-shirt.

Double Breasted Coat

Everyone is looking for a new coat this AW. Why not steer away from the classic colours and go for something a bit more fun. Although this is a yellow coat, due to the mustard tones of the yellow, it is a lot easier to style than you may think.

Argyle Jacquard Sweater

This round neck jumper is a perfect 'ugly' jumper. It adds something interesting to a boring outfit. I would style it by pairing it with one of the colours within the jumper. So either cream, black, brown, red or green.

Jacquard knit vest

This is the perfect layering piece this Autumn Winter. The blue and black make this a very versatile piece.

Rabbit Shirt

This relaxed fit shirt  adds a bit of spice to an office outfit, whether you want to sport the matching tie, or wear it unbuttoned with some trousers. This piece is destined to turn heads.

Purple Wool Sweater

This round neck adds a pop of colour to what could be a very borign autmn winter wardrobe. This could be paired with black, white, or green.

Jacket with contrast ribbing

This jacket should be an essential in everyones wardrobe. The blue and white make this piece really easy to style, and the pockets contrasting with the oversized colour suggests that this piece can be worn dressed up or down.

Rabbit Intarsia Sweater

This brown jumper is the perfect pop of brown to add to this seasons wardrobe. The complimenting colours on this jumper make it really easy to style. You could either go for a full brown look, or pair it with some pink or blue.

Faux Fur Jacket

As this  jacket is two toned, it adds a little bit of uniqueness and difference to the classic fur jackets circulating the shops at the moment. This jacket is bound to keep you warm in the colder months to come but also stylish.
